Mesdames et Messieurs, Je vous Presente:
An album of "from the ground-up" new recordings of some of my favourite songs from the first three albums by Parallel Or 90 Degrees. All recorded on the same system and instrument sets as "Polaris". It only includes songs from the albums "The Corner Of My Room", "Afterlifecycle" and "The Time Capsule" because there may well be another album for the ones that came later. NOT REMIXES - NOT REMASTERS - TOTALLY NEW RECORDINGS
The album includes "Blues For Lear" (with John Jowitt as bass guest) and it will include the complete "Afterlifecyle Sequence" - which in itself includes "Dead On A Car Park Floor". This 20 minute track has already been created almost note for note from the orginal.
The other songs are now confirmed as "Run In Rings", "Bedtime Routines", "The Sea" and Unforgiving skies The album is One hour and 10 minutes long!
The CD is packaged in a plastic free mini gatefold sleeve with an 8 page booklet including all the lyrics
The album will be released in February 2026 subject to manufacturing constraints and is on White Knight Records
This is the first time I have really got into reviving something from long ago... all more than 1/4 of a Century ago now. I am doing this for my own pleasure as well as yours... but assure you that my eyes are firmly fixed on Tangent 14 which will be the biggest and most ambitious thing we've attempted since "Sacre".

This slightly faded photo was taken by my mum in the mid 1990s. I used it as the basis for the sleeve of our first ever release "Afterlifecycle" which was (confusingly) our second album. For this release I intend to use it again for the front cover, though in what way I have yet to decide

I will as normal offer a "Names On The Sleeve" Megafan Pack and a "Pay The Wages" pack both of which will include an almost immediate download of the DEMO version of the as yet incomplete Afterlifecycle Sequence - which includes the 2 main sections but not the final section. It runs at about 20 minutes. As normal the directory will be updated periodically.

So Po9041 will be a "fan" release for our listeners. There are no plans to sign it to anyone else, publicity will not be intrusive.. this will be an album that disappears into the night in the tradition of the band whose music it celebrates in a brief re-awakening. Selling it to you will help me keep the studio running for the big projects to come. I live by selling music. I have no pension pot and I have no regrets about that. So - please buy this album. The CD will be expensive and should be seen as a "Collectors Edition". The Bandcamp downloads will be perfectly reasonable in price.
