An album of "from the ground-up" new recordings of some of my favourite songs from the first three albums by Parallel Or 90 Degrees. All recorded on the same system and instrument sets as "Polaris". Although the track listing is not yet fully decided, it will ONLY include songs from the albums "The Corner Of My Room", "Afterlifecycle" and "The Time Capsule" because there may well be another album for the ones that came later. NOT REMIXES - NOT REMASTERS - TOTALLY NEW RECORDINGS
The album WILL include "Blues For Lear" and it will include the complete "Afterlifecyle Sequence" - which in itself includes "Dead On A Car Park Floor". This 20 minute track has already been created almost note for note from the orginal and will be presented "As One" with the final part "Lifecycle" being made integral rather than being placed after other pieces as it was on the 1996 version.
My shortlist of other songs (which will not all make the cut) includes "The Genuine Article", "Bedtime Routines", "The Media Pirates" (a song that mentioned the Internet and a "Dark Corner of it" in 1995) "Unforgiving Skies". I will also be looking at using self penned track from "No More Travelling Chess" called "Advance"
I intend to release this as a limited edition CD in a simple digipack, and also release it on Bandcamp. There may be more tracks on Bandcamp that would not fit on the CD, anyone buying the CD will of course have free access to all the bandcamp stuff.
I will as normal offer a "Names On The Sleeve" Megafan Pack and a "Pay The Wages" pack both of which will include an almost immediate download of the DEMO version of the as yet incomplete Afterlifecycle Sequence - which includes the 2 main sections but not the final section. It runs at about 20 minutes. As normal the directory will be updated periodically.
The album will be released when it is released. I think you all trust me now to deliver what I promise to make and not let you have it until it's good enough for you to have!

I am doing this for my own pleasure as well as yours... but assure you that my eyes are firmly fixed on Tangent 14 which will be the biggest and most ambitious thing we've attempted since "Sacre".

There are no plans to sign it to anyone else, publicity will not be intrusive.. this will be an album that disappears into the night in the tradition of the band whose music it celebrates in a brief re-awakening. Selling it to you will help me keep the studio running for the big projects to come. I live by selling music. I have no pension pot and I have no regrets about that. So - please buy this album. The CD will be expensive and should be seen as a "Collectors Edition". The Bandcamp downloads will be perfectly reasonable in price.
